Bugesera, Rwanda – June 17, 2025 – The Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture’s laboratories got official designation by the national regulatory body, the Rwanda Standards Board (RSB). This recognition follows RICA’s full compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, the global benchmark for testing and calibration competence, underscoring our commitment to international standards.
The RSB’s Certificate of Designation (No: 004/RSB/LDS/2024-2025) also confirms that RICA’s laboratories have met the rigorous requirements of the EAC Standardization, Quality Assurance, Metrology and Testing regulation.
The approved scope of designation encompasses a comprehensive suite of test methods to assess the following fields: animal foods and feeds, fertilizers, soil and water.
