The Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture

The RICA campus is the flagship location for Conservation Agriculture education and innovation in Rwanda. RICA's unique educational approach integrates robust classroom curriculum with hands-on experience and applied scientific research. Students, faculty, and staff work together on our “living laboratory” campus to continuously advance the science related to conservation agriculture, a system that centers around protecting the soil to increase food production. A visit to the campus allows visitors to explore conservation in action and see it's impact at the field level.
